Access data

We, the website operator or page provider, collect data on access to the website on the basis of our legitimate interest (see Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f. DSGVO) and store these as "server log files" on the website server. The following data is logged in this way:

  • Visited website
  • Time at the time of access
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Source/reference from which you reached the page
  • Operating system used
  • IP address used
Server-Log-Files

Each time a user accesses our website, information is stored in a log file by our hosting provider. These so-called log files contain information about retrieved data, status codes, time stamps and system information. This data is not personal and does not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the specific person.
IP addresses are also stored in log files. For us, these cannot be easily assigned to a specific person. Furthermore, these IP addresses are only stored in the log files in anonymised form and used exclusively for statistical purposes.
If you wish to view our website, we collect the aforementioned data that is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security. The legal basis for the processing is the necessity to protect our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) f) DSGVO.

Contact

If you contact us (e.g. by e-mail or via our contact form), the data you provide will be stored for the purpose of processing your enquiry and for possible follow-up questions. The legal basis for the processing is the necessity to carry out pre-contractual measures according to Art. 6 para. 1b) DSGVO. We delete the data accruing in this context after the storage is no longer necessary or restrict the processing if there are statutory retention obligations.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have the right to assert your data subject rights against us. In particular, you have the following rights:

  • Right to information,
  • Right to rectification or erasure,
  • Right to restriction of processing,
  • Right to object to processing,
  • Right to data portability

You also have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority about our processing of your personal data.

Disclosure to third parties

We transmit your personal data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of contracts or the processing of payments. The legal basis for the transfer is Art. 6 para. 1 b) DSGVO. Personal data will not be passed on to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes without your express consent.

Use of cookies

Change settings

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small files that are placed on your access device (computer, smartphone, tablet or similar) and stored by your browser. They serve to increase the user-friendliness, effectiveness and security of our website. In addition, cookies can be used to collect statistical data on website use and to analyse it in order to improve our services. Cookies do not contain viruses and do not cause any damage to your access device.

You can block the storage of cookies in your browser. Most web browsers allow some control over most cookies via the browser settings. For more information on blocking cookies, please visit: http://www.allaboutCookies.org
However, we would like to point out that certain functions of our website may no longer be available to you or may only be available to you to a limited extent after blocking.

In order to delete/deactivate all cookies stored on your computer, most browsers offer you the option to completely prevent the use of cookies or to delete cookies generated by specific domains/sites. You will find instructions on how to do this on the help page of your browser:

Web analysis with Google (Universal) Analytics

Our website uses Google (Universal) Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google, Inc (www.google.deGoogle (Universal) Analytics uses methods that enable an analysis of your use of the website, such as so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer. The information generated about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymisation on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission within the Member States of the European Union or in other contracting states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. The anonymised IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

We use Google Analytics to analyse and regularly improve the use of our website. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. For the exceptional cases in which personal data is transferred to the USA, Google has submitted to the EU-US Privacy Shield, https://www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework

You can prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (incl. your IP address) to Google as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de

As an alternative to the browser plugin, you can click this link to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on this website in the future. This will place an opt-out cookie on your terminal device. If you delete your cookies, you must click the link again.

The legal basis for the processing is the necessity to protect our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) f) DSGVO, namely our interest in the statistical evaluation of the usage behaviour of our website users and, if applicable, your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) a) DSGVO in conjunction with Recital 32 Sentence 2 (selection of technical settings).

Social Media Plugins

Plugins from social networks are integrated on some pages. We currently use the following plugins: facebook, Twitter, Google+, Xing and LinkedIn.

We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our site, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plugins. You can recognise the provider of the plugin by the marking on the box above its initial letter or logo. We open up the possibility for you to communicate directly with the provider of the plugin via the button. Only if you click on the marked box and thereby activate it, the plugin provider receives the information that you have called up the corresponding website of our online offer. In addition, further data, in particular your IP address, is transmitted. In the case of Facebook and Xing, according to the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymised immediately after collection. By activating the plugin, your personal data is transmitted to the respective plugin provider and stored there (in the case of US providers, in the USA). Since the plug-in provider collects the data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser's security settings before clicking on the greyed-out box.

Via the plug-ins, we offer you the opportunity to interact with the social networks and other users so that we can improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para. 1 f) DSGVO.

We have neither influence on the collected data and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full extent of the data collection, the purposes of the processing, the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the collected data by the respective network. Further information on this can be found in the privacy policy of the respective network.
